General Booking Conditions (GTC)

1. Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts for the rental of guest rooms for accommodation as well as to all services provided by Landhotel Georgshof in this context. They form the basis for the contractual relationship between the hotel and the guest and regulate the rights and obligations of both parties in a binding manner.
2. Conclusion of contract
The accommodation contract is concluded by the acceptance of the guest’s booking by the hotel. Acceptance can be made in writing, verbally, by telephone or electronically. By making a booking, the guest declares his or her binding interest in using the accommodation and accepts these conditions. The guest will receive a confirmation that serves as proof of booking.
3. Prices and Terms of Payment
Prices quoted at the time of booking apply. All prices include VAT. The hotel is entitled to require a reasonable advance payment or security deposit. The invoice amount is due without deduction on arrival at the latest, unless otherwise agreed. Payments can be made in cash, by debit card or in any other agreed way.
4. Arrival and departure
Check-in is possible from 16:00. Check-out is until 10:00. Different times are only possible by prior arrangement. Earlier or later arrival and departure times require the approval of the hotel and may incur additional charges.
5. Withdrawal / cancellation by the guest
Cancellations must be made in writing. Up to 3 days before arrival, free cancellation is possible. If cancelled 2 days before arrival, 50% of the total price will be charged. In case of cancellation on the day of arrival or in case of no-show, 80 to 100% of the total price will be charged. The guest is free to prove that the hotel has suffered no or less damage.
6. Withdrawal by the hotel
The hotel is entitled to withdraw from the contract if force majeure or unforeseeable circumstances make performance impossible or if it turns out that the booking is based on misleading information and that the hotel operation is endangered as a result. In such cases, there is no claim for damages.
7. Use of the rooms
The rooms may only be used by the number of people specified in the contract. Subletting or subletting is prohibited. Smoking is prohibited throughout the property to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests. Violations of these regulations can lead to immediate exclusion.
8. Liability
The hotel is only liable for damage to property or persons in the event of intent or gross negligence. The hotel is liable for items brought in according to the statutory provisions, whereby liability only exists in the case of demonstrably intentional or negligent conduct. The hotel accepts no liability for valuables that have not been deposited in the safe.
9. Pets
Pets are only allowed by prior arrangement and may incur additional costs. We charge €10 per pet per night for cleaning. Pets may only be accommodated in certain rooms and must be supervised at all times during the stay. The hotel reserves the right to take appropriate action in the event of violations of the house rules.
10. Parking spaces and e-charging stations
There are plenty of parking spaces available to guests directly at the hotel, even for larger vehicles such as vans or camper vans. No liability is assumed for damage or theft. The use of the charging infrastructure is at your own risk. The hotel has 11 AC charging points with up to 22 kW charging power. Guests can use the QR code to use their own charging cards (roaming via Hubject) or our special tariffs via app or RFID card.
11. Final Provisions
Amendments or additions to the contract must be made in writing. German law applies. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of the hotel. If any provision of these terms and conditions is invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The hotel reserves the right to adjust these conditions if necessary; guests will be informed in good time.
12. Group bookings and corporate clients
12.1 Definition
A group booking is considered to be any reservation of at least five rooms or ten or more people. Corporate clients are legal or natural persons who book rooms as part of a commercial or professional activity.
12.2 Conclusion of Contract and Quotas
Group and corporate bookings usually require written confirmation from the hotel. Agreed room contingents are reserved until a fixed date (option date). After this date, the hotel can freely allocate unused rooms.
12.3 Terms of payment
The hotel is entitled to demand an advance payment of up to 100% of the total price. For larger groups, a staggered payment arrangement can be agreed. The remaining amount is due at least one day before arrival, unless otherwise agreed. Corporate customers have the option of paying on account by prior arrangement.
12.4 Cancellation policy for groups
Up to 7 days before arrival, up to 50% of the booked service can be cancelled free of charge. Up to 2 days before arrival, cancellations of up to 20% of the service are possible free of charge. After that, 80 to 100% of the cancelled service portion will be charged. The hotel will make every effort to reassign unused rooms; any income from this will be taken into account.
12.5 Changes to Participants
Name changes of individual guests are possible free of charge up to the day of arrival. Changes in the number of people must be notified to the hotel immediately in order to ensure a smooth organization.
12.6 Arrival and departure for groups
Separate check-in and check-out times can be arranged for groups. The organizer must provide a complete list of participants before arrival to ensure a smooth process.
12.7 Liability of the organizer
The booker (organizer or company) is liable for all damages caused by participants. The hotel may require a security deposit to cover any damages.
12.8 Meals and additional services
Agreed services such as breakfast or other services are bindingly booked. Changes to the catering must be communicated at least two days before arrival; after this date, changes are only possible to a limited extent.
12.9 Withdrawal by the hotel
The hotel reserves the right to cancel group bookings if agreed advance payments are not made on time or other contractual obligations are not met.
13. Breakfast services
13.1 Scope of Services
The hotel only offers breakfast as a catering service, breakfast is only included if it has been expressly booked or agreed. The offer depends on capacity utilisation and company organisation (e.g. buffet or reduced selection). Availability may vary.
13.2 Breakfast times
The breakfast times set by the hotel are binding. Earlier breakfast times are only possible by prior arrangement, possibly for an extra charge. Late breakfast times must also be agreed in advance.
13.3 Minimum number of participants
The hotel reserves the right to offer breakfast only if a certain minimum number of participants is reached. If this is not reached, the hotel can either offer an adapted (reduced) breakfast or alternatively provide a packed lunch.
13.4 Claim and no-show
Breakfast is personal and non-transferable. Unused services will be charged in full; no refund will be made in the event of a no-show.
13.5 Changes and cancellations
Cancellations must be made no later than 24 hours before the agreed appointment; after that, the full price will be charged to cover personnel expenses.
13.6 Groups and Corporate Clients
The number of participants registered is binding; Changes are possible up to 48 hours before the service is provided. After that, the full number of people will be charged.
13.7 Surcharges and special services
For very early breakfast times (e.g., before 6:30 a.m.) a surcharge may be charged. Individuals who want an extra early breakfast can be referred to a breakfast package.
13.8 Bring your own food and drinks
It is prohibited to bring and consume your own food and drinks in the breakfast area in order to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
13.9 Special dietary requirements
Special dietary requirements such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free or similar must be communicated in advance so that the hotel can make appropriate arrangements; additional expenses may be charged separately.
