Family Hospitality Since 1861 – Five Generations of Tradition
Our family has been welcoming guests to Landhotel Georgshof in Hünfeld-Oberrombach since 1861. Now managed by the fifth generation since 2021, we combine more than 160 years of hospitality with modern comfort and personal service.
🔁 From Traditional Country Inn to Modern Hotel
Georgshof began as a traditional farm with an adjoining country inn. For generations, we offered breakfast, lunch, coffee and cake, and evening meals.
Changing market conditions, rising costs, staffing challenges and the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic led us to reshape our business.
While our traditional restaurant is now closed, we continue our hospitality tradition through our publicly accessible breakfast buffet, welcoming both hotel guests and visitors from the surrounding area.
☕ Breakfast Buffet – Open to Everyone
You don’t need to stay at our hotel to enjoy breakfast with us!
Our breakfast buffet features fresh bread and pastries, cold cuts, cheeses, sweet breakfast favourites and hot dishes such as scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages and pancakes, along with coffee, tea and other hot beverages.
Regular breakfast hours:
- Monday to Friday: 6:30–9:00 AM
- Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: 7:00–9:30 AM
Extended breakfast hours may be available by prior arrangement, including early breakfast from 6:00 AM or later breakfast at weekends.
Breakfast for non-resident guests costs €15 per person. We recommend contacting us in advance.
We also plan to enhance our weekend buffet with changing regional and seasonal specialities.
